As another year of learning, collaboration, and growth comes to a close, NJSACC’s final Afterschool Conversation of 2026 offers an opportunity to reflect on the work we’ve accomplished together and celebrate the impact of our statewide afterschool community.
This special session will highlight many of the initiatives, trainings, and partnerships that helped shape the year. Participants will revisit key moments from the Behavior & Inclusion Series, the Targeted Technical Assistance Cohort, the 21st CCLC Site Coordinator Summit, and other professional development opportunities that brought educators, youth workers, and program leaders together from across New Jersey. More than a recap, the conversation will explore the lessons learned, relationships built, and ideas that continue to influence programs serving young people throughout the state.
One of the greatest strengths of the OST field is its commitment to continuous improvement. Every training attended, every strategy shared, and every connection made contributes to stronger experiences for youth and families. This final Afterschool Conversation is a chance to celebrate that collective effort while reflecting on the progress we’ve made together.
